Like Anna and Sam, she has a rage mode, in which she chases any visible player, and passive mode, in which she wanders around and is not dangerous. Food does respawn, but it is unknown how often and where.Īs with all bosses, Molly is more dangerous, faster, and harder to stagger the further the ritual has advanced. While food spawns in many rooms, it is most common in cafeteria and kitchen. Repeat this 10 times to finish the ritual. After a brief animation the rat will explode into a million pieces and is sacrificed. Once the rat is placed on the bed, place a fuse in the fuse box (the fuse can also be prepared before the rat is caught) and pull on the lever. The player can then go towards the Altar and interact (E) with the bed to place the rat. Don't pick up the rat too early, otherwise you will grab the food and not the rat. Once the rat is eating the food, a player can interact with the rat (using E) to pick it up. This will cause the rat to stop running away from the player and will approach the food and start eating it. To sacrifice a rat, the player has to find food, drop it near a rat (using G). Five rats are released initially, when a trash can is thrown by the player on the way to the basement. At the start of the game, the player has to first release 10 rats. The gameplay loop of The Asylum is the same as that of The Farmhouse (food = hay, rat = goat, fuse = gas can). To perform the ritual, the player has to fry 10 rats on the Altar of Azazel. All keys will spawn only after Molly is activated. This will shock Molly, causing her to escape into the asylum as flashlights get turned off.Īt this point, Molly is activated she will roam around the halls, and the players have to perform the ritual to win the level. Grab a fuse and put it in the fuse box on the far side of the room, then pull the lever next to the Altar. Molly will be in a sleeping state in the middle of the pentagram. Turn right to go to the basement, where you will find Altar of Azazel, surrounded by 10 light bulbs. Use this key to go upstairs into the "lobby" area, where there is a large fireplace illuminating the room. They then go to the nearby cells, where they will find a key. Players will spawn in an elevator in the basement of the mental asylum where Molly is held.
